III Terms of Service
Irish law framework with applicable EU and UK protections
Inference Innovation Institute • A.Ri
Instinct’s public policies informed the subject outline only. The wording is original and adapted to III’s enterprise service. Irish law and Irish courts govern business disputes under the accompanying Terms; applicable EU and UK mandatory rights remain preserved.
The public enquiry service and contracted client environments have different permissions and data boundaries. Client delivery remains subject to separate signed agreements and processing arrangements.
Part B Terms of Service
Effective date 25 October 2026 • Last updated 25 October 2026
1 Provider scope and acceptance
These Terms govern the A.Ri website and public enquiry service at www.inferenceinnovation.ai, provided by Inference Innovation Institute Ltd (formerly Muir Innovation Limited), trading as III, company number HE 412061, registered office 25 Martiou, 27, D. Michael Tower, Office 105A, Engomi, 2408 Nicosia, Cyprus. Contact ari.support@inferenceinnovation.ai. “You” means the individual user and, where properly authorised, the business represented by that user.
Before account activation, we make these Terms available and ask you to accept them through an affirmative step. You must be at least 18, provide accurate information and have authority to act for any business you represent. If you lack authority to bind your employer, your use creates no contract or commitment on its behalf. You may download or request a copy of these Terms.
The public service supports information requests, qualification of enquiries and referral to III teams. It is not a contract for III’s co-development, engineering, R&D, funding or delivery services. Those services require a separate signed agreement. An account, conversation, indicative proposal or referral does not automatically make you a client.
2 Relationship with client agreements
A signed enterprise agreement, order, statement of work, security schedule or data processing agreement governs the services it expressly covers. If there is a conflict, that agreement prevails for its subject matter; a data processing agreement prevails for processing obligations. These website Terms do not amend an existing client agreement or authorise access to client systems.
Client onboarding requires separate verification, provisioning and permissions. Public enquiry access does not provide access to a client workspace. Each client’s service scope, deployment, authorised users, data boundaries, support and residency commitments are established in its agreement.
3 Accounts and communications
You must control the work email you register, protect your account and promptly report suspected compromise or a changed address. You must not impersonate another person, share access contrary to your organisation’s policy or seek another client’s information. We may require additional verification where appropriate.
Signup normally verifies your work email with a one-time code. We do not need a phone number for that step. We may send verification, security and requested service messages. Optional WhatsApp or other channels are activated only after the relevant choice and notice. Microsoft Teams access, where provided, is established through the appropriate client or business process.
Messaging availability depends on the provider and network, and the service is not an emergency channel. Contact ari.support@inferenceinnovation.ai for support. Marketing consent is separate from acceptance of these Terms.
Service behaviour permissions and content
4 SI responses and escalation
You may interact with an SI-powered service rather than a person. We identify automated interactions appropriately and provide a way to request human assistance. Generated responses may contain mistakes or omit relevant facts. Verify material information before relying on it for a business decision. Responses are not professional legal, tax, medical or regulated financial advice unless a separately agreed professional service expressly provides that advice.
A request requiring judgment, clarification or approval may be referred to an authorised III team member. We tell you when review is needed and provide the reviewed response when available. A referral does not guarantee acceptance, a particular outcome or a response time unless expressly agreed.
Information on funding, R&D eligibility, incentives, engineering performance or compliance is indicative unless expressly confirmed under the relevant engagement. No generated message guarantees eligibility, an award, a regulator’s decision or a project outcome. III remains responsible for its contractual obligations and for matters that law does not permit it to exclude.
5 Authority to act and connected systems
The public enquiry service may answer and route your request within III. It may not enter agreements, make purchases, submit claims, alter business records or disclose confidential information on your behalf merely because you sent a message. Material external actions require an expressly agreed scope, an appropriately authorised user and the confirmation process established for that action.
Connected-system access is available only where specifically enabled under an agreement and documented permissions. You grant only the access needed for the agreed purpose and can revoke it by emailing ari.support@inferenceinnovation.ai. Do not send passwords through the public service. We use approved authentication and delegated access mechanisms where available. Revoking access stops further authorised connection activity; retention and deletion of already collected information follow the Privacy Notice and client agreement.
You remain responsible for having lawful authority to provide data and instructions. III remains responsible for using them within its permissions and applicable obligations. Any delegated recurring action must have a defined scope, limits, audit record and revocation mechanism.
6 Your material and our intellectual property
As between you and III, you retain your rights in the material you provide. You grant III a limited right to host, process and transmit it only as necessary to provide the requested service, maintain authorised security and comply with law, subject to the Privacy Notice and any client agreement. This is not a perpetual or unrestricted licence for general model training.
III retains rights in its existing software, methods, models, documentation, product branding and other intellectual property. Ownership and permitted use of client-specific deliverables and co-development results must be set out in the engagement agreement. Outputs may resemble other outputs and may not attract intellectual property protection; these Terms do not guarantee exclusive ownership of generated text.
We do not use confidential client content for general or cross-client model training. Client-specific development requires a separate written arrangement defining the authorised use. You may use a public response for your lawful internal business purposes, subject to third-party rights and any expressly stated restriction.
Acceptable use commercial terms and liability
7 Acceptable use and third parties
Do not use the service unlawfully, infringe rights, upload malicious code, harass others, circumvent security or rate limits, impersonate users, probe another client’s environment or attempt to extract confidential data. Do not use the service to make prohibited decisions about people or operate safety-critical systems without an expressly agreed and legally compliant deployment.
External platforms and websites have their own terms and privacy arrangements. We are responsible for the suppliers we engage to perform our contractual obligations to the extent required by law and our agreements. We do not control unrelated third-party services you independently choose. Links are not a promise of endorsement or availability.
8 Fees trials and paid services
The public enquiry service carries no fee unless a fee is clearly disclosed and accepted in advance. Paid client services require an order or signed agreement stating scope, price, taxes, payment timing, renewal and termination. These Terms do not create automatic paid subscriptions or recurring charges merely from signup.
A trial may have stated limits and an end date. Any transition to a paid service requires the appropriate agreement and disclosures. Refunds, service credits and payment disputes are governed by the relevant agreement and mandatory law; there is no blanket exclusion of statutory refund rights.
9 Service standard and availability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We may perform maintenance or make proportionate changes for security, legal compliance or service improvement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every generated response will be accurate. A paid service’s availability and support commitments are set out in its agreement. None of these qualifications excludes a statutory duty that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10 Business liability
For business users of the public enquiry service only, and subject to the exceptions below, the aggregate limit on either party’s liability arising from these Terms is the greater of EUR 1,000 and the fees paid or payable for that public service in the preceding 12 months. A signed client agreement sets its own liability regime; this public-service cap does not override it.
For business users, neither party is liable under these Terms for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, revenue or business opportunity, to the extent that exclusion is lawful and reasonable. This exclusion does not remove liability for direct costs of remedying a breach where recoverable under law or the applicable agreement.
Nothing limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. The public-service cap and exclusions do not apply to either party’s breach of confidentiality, infringement of the other party’s intellectual property rights, or liability for unlawful personal-data processing. Data subjects’ statutory rights and available remedies are unaffected.
Termination governing law and consumer safeguards
11 Suspension termination and records
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, an actual security risk, a legal requirement or a material breach. Where practicable we give reasons and an opportunity to remedy the issue. We may act immediately if delay would increase the risk or breach law. Contact ari.support@inferenceinnovation.ai to request review.
You may close your public account by emailing ari.support@inferenceinnovation.ai. We may discontinue a free public service with reasonable notice where practicable. Paid service termination follows its agreement. Closure does not erase lawfully retained records automatically: the Privacy Notice and relevant processing agreement govern export, deletion and retention. Accrued rights and provisions needed to resolve existing disputes survive termination.
12 Confidentiality and personal data
We restrict access to information marked confidential or reasonably understood to be confidential and use it only for the permitted service purpose or where law requires. This obligation does not cover information lawfully public, independently developed, lawfully obtained without restriction or properly authorised for release. Do not submit client-confidential material to the public service; use the agreed client environment.
Our Privacy Notice explains controller activities. Client processing requires an appropriate data processing agreement. Accepting these Terms does not waive privacy rights, authorise unrestricted disclosures or provide consent to every possible use of personal data.
13 Governing law and disputes
For business users, these Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from or connected with them are governed by the laws of Ireland. The courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over business disputes arising from or connected with these Terms. We encourage an initial written complaint to ari.support@inferenceinnovation.ai, but doing so is not a prerequisite to exercising any mandatory right. These Terms do not impose US arbitration or a waiver of statutory collective or representative remedies.
If mandatory consumer law applies, a choice of Irish law does not deprive you of protections that apply under the law of your habitual residence. You may bring proceedings in any court available to you under applicable consumer jurisdiction rules. III will bring proceedings against a consumer only where the applicable jurisdiction rules permit.
14 Mandatory consumer rights
The service is intended for business use. Where you nevertheless qualify as a consumer, mandatory rights prevail, including Ireland’s Consumer Rights Act 2022, applicable EU and national digital-service, unfair-terms and cancellation rules, and applicable UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 protections. The business liability cap and business loss exclusions do not apply to consumers.
If a consumer distance contract is offered, we supply the required pre-contract information, normally applicable 14-day cancellation rights and the appropriate cancellation procedure before contracting. Early service performance or digital-content supply uses the specific request, acknowledgement and consent required for that type of contract. Signup alone does not waive cancellation rights. A dedicated consumer schedule must be approved before paid consumer sales are enabled.
15 Changes and other provisions
We notify material changes in advance where practicable and explain their effective date. Changes operate prospectively; we obtain fresh acceptance where required and do not use website updates to amend signed client agreements. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to the extent lawful. No term excludes rights or remedies that mandatory law preserves. Contact ari.support@inferenceinnovation.ai for questions or complaints.
